These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of and purchases from The Fridge Filter Shop Ltd, trading as FridgeFilterShop.com.

By placing an order or subscribing to our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. PRODUCTS & DESCRIPTIONS

We make every effort to ensure product information, specifications, and prices are accurate.

If an error occurs, we will correct it and notify you before fulfilling your order.

All items are subject to availability.

 

3. PRICING & TAX

• All prices are in GBP (£) and include 20 % VAT for UK and EU orders.
• Orders shipped outside the UK/EU are VAT-free.
• Import duties or local taxes (where applicable) are the customer’s responsibility.

 

4. PAYMENT SECURITY

All payments are securely processed by Stripe Payments UK Ltd or other trusted PCI-DSS-compliant processors.

We do not store or have access to full card details.

All payment data transmitted to Stripe is encrypted with 256-bit SSL technology.

 

5. DELIVERY POLICY

• Orders normally dispatch within 1–2 working days of payment.
• UK delivery: 2–5 working days.
• EU delivery: 5–10 working days.
• Tracking details are emailed once your order ships.
• In the event of delay, you will be notified by email.

Lost or delayed parcels beyond reasonable timeframes will be investigated promptly.

 

6. WARRANTY & GUARANTEE

All products include a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects.

We guarantee your satisfaction and respond to all email enquiries within 1 working day.

 

7. INSTALLATION LIABILITY

Fridge filters must be installed by a competent person following manufacturer instructions.

Improper installation causing appliance or property damage is the customer’s responsibility.

 

8. RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

a) Returns

You have the right to cancel or return goods under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

• You may cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods.
• Items must be unused and returned in original packaging.
• Refunds are processed within 5–10 working days after inspection.
• Customers pay return postage unless the product is faulty.

b) Faulty Goods

If an item is faulty, email sales@thefridgefiltershop.com with your order number and details.

All returns are tested: if confirmed faulty, you’ll receive a full refund or replacement.

If found functional, only the product value is refunded (minus shipping).

 

9. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

a) Model

By subscribing, you agree to recurring billing based on your selected plan.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

b) Cancellation

• Cancel anytime via your customer account.
• Must be done before the next billing cycle.
• Cancelling one subscription does not cancel others.

c) Confirmation

A cancellation confirmation email will be sent with the end date of service.

d) Refunds

No refund is issued for the current billing cycle once payment has processed.

Service continues until the end of that period.

e) Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for managing active subscriptions and keeping payment details current.

 

10. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION

The Fridge Filter Shop Ltd is the data controller for all customer information.

We process data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 solely to:

• Fulfil and deliver your orders
• Manage subscriptions and payments
• Communicate updates or offers (only if you opt in)

We never sell data.

Requests for data access or deletion can be sent to sales@thefridgefiltershop.com.

Cookies are used to manage your basket, login sessions, and improve functionality.

You can disable cookies in your browser, but checkout may not function correctly.

 

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from misuse or incorrect installation.

Our total liability is limited to the product purchase value.

 

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
